Notes: We purposefully avoid laminate trimmer routers for a few reasons.

● Laminate Trimmer routers are typically under powered. We recommend a router with 1-1/2 to 2-1/4 HP (1100 to 1700 watts). It’s not clear yet whether battery powered routers can generate the power required to successfully rout joinery.

● Laminate trimer routers have very small bases. Trying to maneuver a small base over a Leigh jig may be more difficult and result in poor joints.

● Laminate trimmer routers have small collets. Most Leigh router bits have 8mm or 1/2" shanks.
